SEAMap srl (Seascape Evaluation Assessment and Mapping) is a spin off of the University of Genoa, born to apply innovative technologies to marine coastal areas in the fields of environmental consultancy and planning.
Thanks to the purchase of a UAV drone Mikrokopter Okto XL and to a long period of training, SEAMap srl can now offer a service of low-altitude videos and photos.
Videos and photos can be produced both for scientific-technical purposes (low-altitude photos for environmental monitoring) and advertisment campaigns.

Hi lovely Savone county,
Very nice image!
We are Ferrymen Fotografie form Capelle ad IJssel in the Netherlands and have also posted some images. What is the law for flying a drone in your country? Here we are very limited also as one flies professionally.
HI, the Italian Civil Aviation Country is still working on a new law.
Basically, they will make it more difficult to fly for professionals, and you will probably need a training course.
At the moment, most people I know flyes with the minimum requirements, such as an insurance and within 100m. No GPS, as it is considered ‘automatic’ flight. This will hopefully change in the new law, as I see the GPS as one of our best safety measures, too.
The highest troubles are with insurances, prices are rising as they don’t know what to ask for. Do you have a specific insurance in the Netherlands?
