For a six-foot tall person, the horizon is a little more than 3 miles (5 km) away. Geometry tells us that the distance of the horizon – i.e. the farthest point the eye can see before Earth curves out beneath our view – depends simply on the height of the observer. For an observer on the ground with eye level at 5 ft 7 in , the horizon is at a distance of 2.9 miles. For a drone at 100 feet in height, line of sight is at a distance of 12.2 miles.
I've been flying for about a year now, and I have to say I didn't find one of those tips useful…I found HEAPS of them useful!! THANK YOU! Particularly the adjustable joystick Heights; I don't think that's even mentioned in the manual! and I always wondered how you recorded screens – very very good! thank you again! 👍

when I lost my DJI Phantom 1 I wish I would have put my number on the bottom at least it would have given me some hope
you should have told them the fact that if you hold both of your sticks down in the left position down left position the motors completely die but other than that great video

I added my number on my Phantom 2 Vision Plus I lost signal I lost it I went home 20 minutes later phone ring it had landed in some bushes some guy found it and called me on my cell phone I offered him a reward he did not want it he said it was the most peculiar thing he's ever found

thanks for the info on the cell getting hot ,,my s7 Edge was getting real hot and then the video would chop out,,so you said to put in in airplane mode ? any thing els to keep it cool so i dont lose video,, thank waiting for your reply,, also i always fly it in fpv? you said to fly it in follow me mode? never done that, whats the difference
