Description

The Clay Cliffs are an unusual geological formation of dramatic eroded pinnacles and ravines, set in the Mckenzie Basin in the South Island of New Zealand.
Made of layers of silt and gravel deposited by old glacial rivers the formation is 1-2 million years old.
