Machu Picchu is an Inca city and World Heritage Site in the Andes of Peru. The city once supplied and housed around 1000 wealthy Incas and was built in the 15th century. It lies between the peaks Huayna Picchu and Machu Picchu, which can be climbed for a fee. Machu Picchu is the largest tourist attraction in South America and attracts on average more than 2500 guests per day. There is a train service from Cusco to Aqua Calientes, a village at the foot of the Machu Picchu mountain where there are no cars. Alternatively, there is a bus service (for minibuses) to the Hidroelectrica power plant on the other side of the mountain. Enjoy the best of Machu Picchu in the video.
