Vizual Fly Videos brings you to the island of Sicily...
Scala dei Turchi
- Also known as the "Turkish Steps." It lies between two sandy beaches, and is accessed through a limestone rock formation in the shape of a staircase, hence the name. The latter part of the name derives from the frequent raids carried on by Moors.
Cala Rossa (Favginana Island)
- A hidden gem on the island. Crystal clear waters and cool quarry digs. So many dead Phoenicians washed ashore on the northeastern part of Favignana that the shoreline there acquired the name "Red Cove" (Cala Rossa) from the bloodshed (incorrect red from the red clay on the beach and not for the bloodshed).
