1 Always check your failsafes and redundancies, 2 always check your hardware before launch, 3 video drones are NOT race drones, 4 don't fly over buildings or around people, 5 ALWAYS wear safety glasses when flying, remind others to stay far away if they are not, even a tiny one will slice an eye open. 6 Stay within line of sight, if it becomes a speck, you are too far and are breaking multiple laws.
And finally, walk before you can run, these are not toys and require knowledge, respect and practice, buy cheap little drones for $30 then get a $100 one, THEN get a race/camera drone, only after you master the basics.
I crash every other battery, but that's the territory with race drones in small spaces, but I crash into the ground, bushes and trees, not people, buildings and vehicles.
