Agios Kosmas is a long, sandy, well organized beach in short distance (a few hundred meters) off the coastal Poseidonos Avenue, just after Alimos and opposite to the ex- Western Airport of Athens. It is situated at a distance of some 9 kilometers southeastern to the center of Athens; this too is one of the closest beaches to the city center. The beach is adjacent to the Athletic Center which receives many people both in the weekdays and during the weekends.
