A pale sunset casts its light over a misty Alderney Harbour. A two
mast ship lays moored, watched over by the ancient Fort Albert,
embraced by the curve of Braye Bay and protected against possible storm by the breakwater.
A breath of wind and a gentle tide slowly turns the tall ship, this way and that against its anchor.
The dying rays of the sun, glow through the rigging, casting a black
silhouette of the proud ship, on the still sea.
A few small lights shine on deck, but the ship appears deserted.
Are the crew sleeping?
Are they all down the pub getting ratted?
Yay!
