While traveling up the NSW North Coast, we came across this magical set of white sand bays and islands. Bureaucracy has not yet arrived here and you can still drive on this beach, so this is actually a dronie as well as that is us in a beaten up 4 x 4 in the bottom left. This beach goes on for 40+ kms and we drove while flying right up to the "island" at the end, inhabited only by noisy bats and plenty of slithering and crawling creatures. The area was called the Wind Woppa Reserve. Photos cant yet convey the other senses but when I look at this shot I'm taken back to the vivid colours of the sea and sand, the wind whistling and the salty ocean smell.
