The stunning Blue Pools from above - Located next to Lake Wanaka, New Zealand, and the SH6 Haast Pass Highway.
After crossing the Makarora River from the car park via a swing bridge, a boardwalk leads to a viewing platform over the Blue Pools. Soon after, it crosses the Blue Pools Bridge for great views up the Blue River gorge.
The Blue Pools are located 8 km from the township of Makarora.
