Every heard of Avery Labels? Well, the heir to the Avery Label fortune was a very nice man named Dennis Avery, who owned a winter home in Borrego Springs. He bought up several square miles of land in Borrego Springs, CA, and commissioned a sculptor named Ricardo Breceda to build a series of metal sculptures on his land. He opened his land to all and let everyone enjoy the sculptures. Mr. Avery passed away recently and all of the desert lost a friend.
