I was hired to provide live streaming from my drone to the big screen located on stage during the 11 days of the Calgary Stampede. I captured this in between shots, there are over 20 000 people in those seats.
I am the owner of a small production company in Calgary, Alberta that provides specialty camera services including underwater videography, aerial drone videography, motion timelapse and high angle camera work. We work with a broad spectrum of clients including the Discovery channel, National Geographic, the IUCN, WWF, BBC, Travel Alberta, TSN and Red Bull, among others. With a formal education in videography and photography and an early career as a firefighter / paramedic I have continually updated my skill set to ensure that I not only add value but am an indispensable part of any team for remote fieldwork. As an example, not only have I been operating cameras underwater for over 20 years (starting with film) but I am a certified PADI instructor with over 4000 dives, rebreather and tech training as well as a certified scuba technician.
