Unlike most churches in Mexico Mazatlan’s Cathedral with its Gothic exterior shows little sign of
Spanish influence. The interior is a patchwork of design with its two altars decorated in the baroque style.
The jewel of the cathedral is the extraordinary organ built in Paris by the manufacturer Arístides Cavaillie coll (1811-1899)
