I had been out shooting video of the annual Pill Regatta when I saw this ship coming round the bend in the River Avon. I knew they’d have to halt the races whilst it passed so went to a safe altitude to get a few stills. This one is of a very near-miss as the rowboat dithered over whether to go to the left or the right of the rapidly advancing vessel… the crews at this event are fairly amateur.
