This is what is left of the Dayhagon Public Elementary School in the town of Medellin in the Province of Cebu, Philippines after it was hit by Super Typhoon Haiyan in November last year. The typhoon, one of the worst to hit the country in recent years, wiped out nearly all schools in Medellin and its neighboring towns. When classes resumed weeks after the typhoon, students and teachers had to bear with makeshift classrooms.
