DJI Mavic 2 Pro vs DJI Mavic Air vs DJI Spark (Video Comparison)

Most of these 3 drone comparisons are with Spark, Air, and Mavic Pro 1. It's nice that you skipped the older MP and jumped to the Mavic 2, especially with the Hasselblad lens. I actually like the sharper image of the spark and the Pro 2 much better than that of the Air. I'm really impressed that you weren't using polarizer or ND filters on the Pro 2. I'm just not that impressed, so far with the clarity of the Mavic Air. It looks like a great drone, with a lot of features, but I just watched another video, where, to me, and the guy who shot the footage, both think the Spark is much clearer and has better color right off the batt. than the Mavic Air. I have seen some other footage by the Mavic Air that looked sharp and had really good color, though. I'm not sure if he did something different that we're not talking about here or not. It was shot probably mid day, with a lot of trees and a river, but other than that, I don't know. Hmmmmm, again. Marc.

Thank you for the video. I am buying my first drone, and must have watched 100+ videos in respect of the Spark and the Mavick Air. What I have learned is that they are both brilliant drones from a quality manufacturer. For me, the Spark's videos look better, although I appreciate the added features of the Air. However, as a Newbie, the price difference is not worth it. Battery life for the Spark is my biggest concern, but buying a couple more batteries for my travels is no big deal. If in the future, I decide to upgrade my interest, that would be the senisble time to buy a more cutting edge drone. Anyway, that's just MY thoughts, and watching your video has really helped me make up my mind to go with the Spark! Kind regards, Errol.

After owning a Spark for a year, I recently bought the M2P and wow!!! The main thing that bothered me with the Spark was its reception, not so much how far I can go, but that I simply lose connection in the city even after 50m' of flight. I simply couldn't trust it. I was always afraid I'll lose it (which actually happened once, and another very close call, with the new one). The M2P is also a lot more stable in the air, 3 axis gimbal, and the battery time is awesome. 1" sensor and 20MP photos are amazing, especially with RAW campability and low light conditions, even though the Spark produces pretty good results considering its limited hardware. Only thing I really like more about the Spark is its size. Can't compete with that.

again.. why SPARK video looks best ? how come absolutely best color. and it seems every time that spark wins over Mavic air / pro / pro2.. how come!? I think its because of either special software algorythms that extends contrast keeping well balanced dynamic range or special multicoatings or UV glass on the camera element. have no clu but spark wins by overall image quality… wait what!?

People saying spark is best.. What about the 10 minute useless battery life.. it's a complete joke..

I've never owned a drone. I want to start my own series and budget wise the spark is a more realistic purchase. I think with what you said and other youtubers ..I can still make the video look great. I would most likely have to start with the spark.

Nice little video. I think the Spark footage was the best out of all three to be honest. The other 2 are certainly not £1000.00 better quality.

I am having trouble with downloading videos from my sd card reader. (. Spark. ). To my phone 📱 (. LG7 ). It shows me a blank screen nothing happens when I plug it into my phone. ??? UPDATE. Now have Videos. But some of the parts are all scrambled (. Poor quality. ).

Nice comparison Mike. I totally agree that with today's camera technology that should not define us as creators. It really is what we can do with it. Each of these drone cameras does something well. I just got the Spark and put ND filters on it and I am really surprised at how the shots come out. Gonna wait a while on Mavic 2 Pro and would not order without the ND filters. Still dancing with my Mavic Air and love it for travel. Keep up the great work man!
