View of a combined wildfire Incident Command Post and Fire Camp for the Washington Fire, located 3 miles south of Markleeville, California which burned 17,622 acres and is 29 percent contained. The fire is named for the Lady Washington Mine near the origination point. The base, which is housed at county fairgrounds, is 30 miles from the working fire and outside the closed airspace, is outside the 5 mile radius of a small non ATC airport, is next to a county model radio controlled sky park, and has no temporarily airspace restrictions in place.
