An iconic place in alsace. The castle was in a ruin state by the mid 19th century. Alace had been returned to Prussia after the 1870 war and the Prussia emperor rebuilt and modernised the place (a train train that went all the way up to the top of the mountain was purpose built for the project). It is now a must see place in French Alsace. FOr the shot, taking off away fro people and car park was tricky: I had to slalom between trees in the nearby forest with limited visibility but eventually managed to take this shot without getting too close within the legal flying limits of the place...
