Iceland is one of my favorite places to fly drones. It is never too hot for the batteries, and only rarely too cold. It is relatively unpopulated and drones are banned in very few parts of Iceland. Spring and fall are my favorite times to travel to Iceland, because the summers are too crowded for my tastes and the winters only have a few hours of daylight, and if it happens to be raining/snowing or too windy during that time (which happens often in Iceland), you can’t fly.

Just a sad note, the Icelandic National Parks have banned drone flying in this area, so all I have are my earlier photos.
