Like waves on the ocean, seasons come and go. So too does the sun rise and set with precise regularity. These rhythms across the land offer and unending stream of vivid color, motion and are the lifeblood of humankind. Filmed during the month of December across Kansas, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Tennessee, the Rhythms of the Land come to life in an seemingless lifeless and colorless landscape.
Filmed with a DJI Phantom Vision 2+, edited and color graded with Sony Vegas. The majority of this film was shot in fully autonomous, hands-off mode while other portions with full piloting controls. Portions of the film have been sped up to compress the time over the vast distances covered. Flown within visual flight ranges, max altitude 375ft AGL.
