Across Kansas an occasional waterway can be a welcome sight for wildlife and offer great locations to take in the fall colors. Over the span of several short weeks in this film, this lush, green landscape situated in the Glaciated Region of Northeast Kansas rapidly transforms into a stunning array of fall colors only to quickly fade.
Kansas plays a critical role in the midst of the Central Flyway Migration Corridor that extends from Canada to the Gulf. Through these expansive wilderness areas, wetlands and agricultural fields, essential nourishment sustains millions of birds annually making an epic journey of flight.
