A flight over Laphroaig distillery on the south coast of Islay. The flight takes us out over Loch Laphroaig to see the distillery from various angles coming in from the sea before flying over the distillery. There’s also a bit of footage from inside the still house, no, that was not filmed with the quadcopter (just the GoPro camera held up high).
I also had some footage from the Friends of Laphroaig fields, unfortunately that didn’t turn out very well, so I decided to leave that out. You should still get some good impressions of the area around the distillery as well, there are some good views of Texa and towards Port Ellen.
No whisky was drunk before or during the filming (don’t drink and fly!), however, a wee dram of Laphroaig Triple Wood was enjoyed during and after the editing of the video.
