Mud Volcanoes
The Salton Sea is a very active geothermal area. In addition to the geothermal plants nearby, there are areas of "mud volcanoes" which are areas where hot mud and air are pushed to the surface. Since the mud is often very hot, the safest way to examine these mud volcanoes is from the safety of a drone.
I'm a patent and trademark attorney at InterContinental IP (www.icipLaw.com) whenever I'm not flying my drone. We own a small resort in Thailand (Thai-West Resort) and I get over there a few times a year to fly. Whenever I travel on business, I always try to bring along my drone.
