The Missouri River twists and turns for over 2,300 miles slicing across Montana, North Dakota, Nebraska and separating South Dakota, Iowa, Kansas and Missouri. As the longest river in North America, the Big Muddy played a central role in the expansion of the West, lives of Native Americans and American history. In the late fall, at a sharp turn known as English Landing, ominous fog covers the land in the early morning.
Filmed with a DJI Phantom Vision 2+, edited and color graded with Sony Vegas. The majority of this film was shot in fully autonomous, hands-off mode while other portions with full piloting controls. Portions of the film have been sped up to compress the time over the vast distances covered. Flown within visual flight ranges, max altitude 375ft AGL.
