The legends tell that each year at night of San Juan, at midnight, a naked lady appears above the tower of the castle of Montsoriu with a torch lit in the left hand and in the other with a hunting horn that at the sound of the same, a gentleman with a black horse appears, mounts the Red Lady on his rump and disappears into the blackness of the night.
