Salton City is a small town on the Salton Sea. 40 years ago it was going to be “the next big thing” and developers put in all sorts of roads and sold all sorts of lots. Then a hurricane hit and flooded the surrounding regions. Then the fish began dying off. Now the level of the Salton Sea is receding every year.
