Feselalp is located above Gampel / Jeizinen at around 2200m ASL in the Canton of Valais – Switzerland. A dream location as far as the view is concerned. With good visibility, you can see lot of the 4000-metre peaks of the Valais Alps.
In the background you can see the Illgraben. The Illgraben is a huge rock basin overlooking the Rhone Valley in the region of Leuk. It was created by erosion in the 14th century after a landslide.
At the bottom of the valley you can see the runway of the old military airbase of Turtmann, no longer active since 2003.
