The best drone video of Switzerland. This beautiful drone video of mountains and lakes, villages and high peas of the Alps is definitive aerial footage of Switzerland. Featured in this drone video are many regions of Switzerland, including, Churfirsten, Öschinensee, Klöntalersee, Pragelpass, Wädenswil, Rapperswil, Einsiedeln.

We selected this multirotor video as our featured creator drone video for November by Ante Babic as it shows the outstanding skill of its creator Ante, using the DJI Phantom 3 Professional to its full potential, combine this with the perfect song and great editing and the results are unforgettable.

The Alps are a high mountain range running across the central-south of the country, comprising about 60% of the country’s total area. The majority of the Swiss population live in the Swiss Plateau, this drone footage will give you one of the best aerial views of these amazing natural wonders of Europe.

Among the high valleys of the Swiss Alps many glaciers are found. From these originate the headwaters of several major rivers, such as the R Rhine, Inn, Ticino and Rhône, which flow in the four cardinal directions into the whole of Europe. The hydrographic network includes several of the largest bodies of freshwater in Central and Western Europe, among which are Lake Geneva (also called le Lac Léman in French), Lake Constance (known as Bodensee in German) and Lake Maggiore.

Videos from ante Babic’s channel ANTE UP 51 have been featured in our epic submission compilations in the past.

The multirotor used to film this video is the DJI Phantom 3 Professional with Nd4, Nd8 and Nd16 Filters. Everything was filmed in 4k 24fps.

We asked Ante a few questions and here are his answers.

How long have you been filming with drones and multirotors?

“I started filming with drones in 2013.”

How did you first get involved with aerial videos?

“I heard in 2013 the first time about the Dji Drones and it was July right before my summer holidays. So I wanted to try something new and I decided to buy a Drone. At the time there was no gimbal system on my drone so the footage was basically not usable. It’s amazing how far everything has come in just about 2-3 years.”

If you could film anywhere or anything in the world, where or what would it be?

“I am interested in filming all kinds of stuff all around the world. I like nature and all the different landscapes our world has to offer. One day I would also like to start filming extreme sports stuff. Just getting better at everything and pushing further.”

Which is your favourite drone video on the web?

“That is really hard to tell. There are so many that I cannot really decide. But it’s interesting because you always learn new stuff from other people’s drone videos.”

What are you excited about in the future of aerial videos?

“I am excited about how the technology will improve and be more intuitive. It is going to be interesting to see what will be possible in the future of aerial videography.”

A final word from Ante, “I hope you enjoy the video and the beauty of Switzerland.
Keep going and smiling :-)”
