What better way to celebrate a New Year than to do something crazy with your old drone? I jammed my iPad mini down by shirt and tucked my Bebop under my arm, then paddled my Walden 10′ 10″ stand-up paddleboard out from Thai-West Resort for some dronie action. Fortunately the seas were calm so my New Year celebration ended up happy as neither drone nor iPad were damaged during the filming.
