In the splendid Gulf of the Poets, one of the most evocative places in Italy, stands a tiny village: Tellaro. It’s included in the ranking of the most beautiful villages in Italy. The small village, eastern fraction of #Lerici, is a seaside village, perched on a cliff overlooking the sea, with all colorful houses and steep alleys. Tellaro has no roads: the only access road to the town starts from Lerici and goes straight to the sea. For the rest there are only footpaths that descend from the different villages around the sea, but not always easily practicable. What strikes about this small village on the sea is its enchanting beauty, its silence, its union with nature. It was built on the rocks and at its origins the task of this village was to control the invaders arriving from the sea.
