They are the Comolithi, the strange and highly impressive pyramid formations in Kissamos, Chania. They are almost entirely made of soft clay that over time and weather have been sculpted and taken in their present form. The \"bald\" hills with vegetation only at their peak in an environment full of lush vegetation, is definitely not at all common for our country.
