Tilapia beds Salton City, California
As California's largest lake, the Salton Sea, loses water, the shoreline recedes, exposing the nest of the tilapia fish, which were the last species to survive in the ever-increasing salinity of the Salton Sea. The nests continue to have water in them, and the water turns all sorts of different colors.
