I had a very interesting experience flying my Parrot Disco in fairly high winds (about 20 mph). When it was flying “down wind”, the Disco really went fast, but when I turned upwind and turned down the speed, the Disco moved along at a very slow pace. I actually really enjoyed flying it at this speed, as you could take your time to video a flight line. It was also fun to turn it into the wind and watch it bank radically and start blasting in the other direction.

Please note, all this video is regular speed. None was slowed down or sped up, so check out how slowly the Disco is flying when it goes “upwind” over our group.
