Pidhirtsi Castle – an architectural monument of the late Renaissance and Baroque. Located in the village of Pidhirtsi, Brody district, Lviv region.
The castle was built during the years 1635-1640 under the direction of architect Andrea del Aqua at the direction of the Crown Hetman Stanislaw Koniecpolski. Pidhirtsi Castle is one of Europe’s best samples of Renaissance palace with bastion fortifications.
