The statue is on the peak of Mount Urgull. It is located in between the two bays and is almost an hour and a half walk from the old city to reach the statue. The hike is also the main reason people visit this place. Apart from it the place where the statue is situated also acts as a platform from where you can get the most spectacular views of the whole city, especially the La Concha Bay.
