Two Weeks ago Zermatt Tourism invited us to come over spending a Weekend up in the mountains. We, a group of a few photographers, traveled from different places in Switzerland to the beautiful mountain village. We spent the first night in the Riffelhaus – a Hotel just in front of the famous Matterhorn. The next day we got up at half 5 in order to catch sunrise at the Riffelsee. Nicole even brought a kayak with her. After a great breakfast the next day we went up to the small Matterhorn, another mountain which is 3800 meters over sea level. I guess thats the highest altitude I’ve ever been.
The whole trip was finished with a stay in the Gornergrat Hotel which offers a crazy view over the glacier.
