“Koppelsluis Oosterbos” in the Koning Willem Alexander Canal makes it possible for skippers to sail through an offshoot of the Hondsrug. Ships here rise or fall through a double lock 2 times 2.5 meters, in order to be able to continue their way. Many thousands of boats use this special waterway every year.
