The all-electric Formula E race series took place in Berlin. Here, the track is under construction in front of the big terminal building at Berlin THF. The airport was closed in 2009 and turned into a public park. That old US troop carrier plane is never gonna fly again. They used those to supply Western Berlin during the late 40ies sowjet blockade, when air travel was the only means of entering the city from the western world.
