The Valley of Stones Nature Reserve
These images are part of an on-going research project carried out as part of a Dorset Archeological project into Iron Age and Saxon agricultural practices. I have been filming here for about 6 months.
The valley is named after the Sarsen stones which litter the valley floor. These are lrage silicified sandstone boulder exposed during the last Iron Age. These are the same type of stone used at Stonehenge.
